To safeguard our Internet infrastructure and collected data, we have implemented Security Practices that consist of employee confidentiality agreements, password management procedures, a facility access protocol, performance monitoring, and annual 3rd party audits.
Our governing policies are contained in a Security Practices document that includes the following topics:
Physical Site Security: describes an approach to protect the hosting environment against unauthorized physical access.
Security Compliance: describes standards & processes used to ensure adherence to industry best practices.
System Access Control: describes an approach to protect against unauthorized physical or electronic access.
Secure Infrastructure Management: describes an approach to managing the security at the system and network level, as well as the on-going monitoring and reporting services to identify potential threats.
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: describes the processes and resources used to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster, as well as the redundant power and environmental control systems in the hosting center to ensure high availability, and business continuity.
We take a multipronged approach to system security, and full backups are performed daily, weekly, and monthly for both application and data. In order to provide a secure Internet experience for our customers, all data transmissions over the Internet are encrypted using https and 256-bit SSL encryption.
